According to the 2008 International Arbitration Study [as link], 45% of the participating corporations said they preferred to submit their disputes to the ICC (45%), followed by AAA-ICDR (16%) and the LCIA (11%). The 2008 Study confirms the increased preference for regional arbitration institutions as viable alternatives to international institutions.

Reported statistics from the arbitration institutions show that AAA-ICDR is the most frequently used institution, followed by ICC, HKIAC and CIETAC.
